“THE HAPPIEST HOUR” or “DHARMA DRUNKS”
I did Boston this weekend for the first time ever. And while the Freedom Trail was amazing…and Fenway Park was gorgeous…and Boston Harbor filled me with patriotic glee – it was this little Cambridge haunt called The People’s Republik that really stole my heart and made me think I need to stop delaying any longer and start working on a life long dream of mine –
Breaking out on a cross-country walkabout and hitting every great dive-bar this country has to offer!!! Then – document it all and write a horribly pretentious, indulgent beat novel called OFF THE WAGON or THE HAPPIEST HOUR or THE DHARMA DRUNKS.
Sure – I’ll need dialysis (and a good rehab facility) after it’s all said and done.
But imagine the cred!!!
